As a new transfer student, you will attend a Transfer Orientation to meet new people, learn how you can get involved as a Temple student, and register for courses.
Here's what you can expect at Transfer Orientation.
It's a half-day experience offered virtually and/or in-person depending on your major - that includes the following.
-
Academic advising and registration for fall courses
-
Meeting other new transfer students in your school/college
We’ll also have other opportunities for you to meet new people and learn about campus resources throughout the summer and at the start of the semester as part of Weeks of Welcome.
When will Transfer Orientation happen?
Transfer Orientation sessions will take place from mid-May through August via Zoom or in person depending on your school/college. Sessions are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
What will I need to participate in a virtual Transfer Orientation?
- To fully participate you will need a device (computer, laptop, tablet) that has audio functionality.
- Reliable access to the internet.
- While not required, we recommend the use of headphones to avoid background noise.
- Your Temple Zoom account using your AccessNet username and password.
- Come ready to turn your video and microphone on to have a more engaging experience.
